I'm naturally a dirty blond and I wanted to go darker with my hair to make my eyes pop out and 5R did an amazing job. It makes my mixed eyes (blue-gray-green-brown) pop out just perfectly without making me look like a sheet of white paper. It adds shine too. OVERALL AN AMAZING PRODUCT

I followed the directions exactly. Maybe they are missing a step and it needs waiting for five minutes while it activates? There is nothing to indicate that you should be watching for a color change, just mix and use when foaming. It foamed, but after I had applied it all, the remaining mix in the bottle started to change colors. So I get to wait 2 weeks (which will be after the event I was dying my hair in advance of) to use a different company's dye.

I normally use #82 in the creme but decided to try this because of the claim it would be easy to use.
It is easy BUT the color is awful and didn't come anywhere near what was on the box. As I saw what was happening, I immediately washed it out.
I am extremely disappointed and would not recommend this to anyone who colors on a regular basis.
Nutrisse - what happened to quality control?! Other than a form formulation, Why is this product so dramatically different?

I went to my local beauty supply because my mother is a instructor in cosmetology. You have to pay about $30.00 but you want to. It's color stripper. I left mine on for 13 minutes and its gone!! Listen ladies you do not have to sport this funky color it has way to much magnesium in it that is why it went way wrong. I also returned mine because my DL Showed UUUHH I'm blond. UUUUHHHH Got that money back!!!!

I am not sure what I did wrong but the foam was not foamy like in the video and it did not cover all my gray. I didn't even have that much gray . The product was easy to use (This is my 1st hair coloring experience) but wish the results were better.

I'm sorry but I am a natural blond and when I used this it was no where near the color on the box. Instead of taking out grey and having blond again, my hair came out brown! I don't know if I want to try this again. Also, I really don't consider what it came out as as foam. It was runny.

I purchased this product because I wanted to give it a try...For the cost I was terribly disspointed..It did not cover my grays as expected at all...I followed the directions to a "T" and still had bad results..I found the foam to be messy and not as expected..It was a bit drippy and it ended up on my bathroom floor..I will stick to my regular product and I will not purchase this again..

Not Quite What I was going for

It was my first experience with this product. My hair is dark, my beautician says Ash colored. I am about 20% gray and had 1" roots. I picked medium golden brown as I wanted to lighten it up a bit. The product was very easy to use and I liked the ease of application. It left my hair feeling healthy. However, there is no golden to it. It is still dark and it's red. A very artificial looking red. My mother even commented on the red. Sometimes I pick red tones on purpose but this time I wanted golden brown. I don't understand what happened. Bad quality control? Wrong colorant in the bottle? I'm hesitant to try again not knowing what results I'll get.

I really liked this color it came out a really pretty brown with some reddish undertones. The only problem my hair came out a little dry. The smell wasn't bad though and the overall process was really easy. I was also surprised with the amount of dye my hair is long and thick and i usually use up two bottles of dye but with this I barely needed the second. Overall this was a really nice color and I would definitely use it again.

I am really pleased with this product! It smells wonderful, and is very easy to use. I chose light brown because I had used some darker products to cover the gray from 2 other brands, but this has given me the best results to date. I have received many compliments, I love the color, and will keep using this to keep the grays at bay.

I used this product for the first time last week - mostly for root touch up and gray coverage, plus I needed to brighten my professional coloring from 7 weeks before. I chose this shade because it was closest to what I had received at the salon. I followed the directions precisely - I'm not normally a stickler for directions but since it was the first time with this product I wanted to do it right. I now have purplish-red roots and bangs. The rest of my hair is brown. (As in, the product did not work on the rest of my head at all). I FOLLOWED THE DIRECTIONS!!! I am incredibly disappointed with this product and will never purchase anything by this company again. I was trying to stretch out professional colorings but will have to go in this week to get this mess corrected. And the gray coverage lasted 2 whole shampoos.

Thanks so much for the Free Nutrisse Color Foam I received a coupon for. I colored my hair on New Years and with other hair color products I have used in the past it was un-noticable because my hair is brown and well unless bleaching my hair to have color is my choice, I prefer not to. Once I followed the instructions to the end and hair was dry, I did see hints of the Auburn tones and really liked it. It wasnt as bold as the box showed samples of, but I didnt expect the great shades it did give me. It really was easy to use and my only con would be that it has a very strong smell when you mix it and put it on. You must put it on in a very well ventillated area. Other than that it was really great and I would recommend this product. Only 4 stars because of strong oder and not as vibrant color all over as box images. Thanks so much!

I REALLY love the color and it was almost exactly what looking for. But I have had some of the problems others have mentioned. It did not spread well, I have parts of my hair that did not get dyed, and I'm not the one who did it. My roommate did it for me so she could see a lot better than I would have. Plus she has dyed my hair in the past with no problems. The pump bottle did become slippery so I had to pump the product for her. I also am having the issue of the water never running clear. I went to bed with my hair wet last night and there is now hair dye on my pillow case. Two days later and there is still dye rinsing out of my hair. I have dyed my hair multiple times and never had as many issues before. Like I said I love the color but it wasn't worth all of the other issues I've had.

Used this product on my medium brown hair, now i have bright red/orange where my grey used to be, and my hair feels dry and coarse. I normally use Herbashine which gives good colour and condition, but was looking for something more permanent.

I wanted to try a different shade of brown, and I chose this particular shade because it looked like it would be a pretty shade. I used it for the first time tonight, and I loved it! It was very easy to use, and I had no issues with dripping! I will definitely use it again! (I loved how the shade turned out)!

I have really thick, long hair so regardless of what I use, I need two boxes to get the job done. I advise anyone using this who has hair like me to please get two boxes just in case so you won't run out halfway through the dying process! :P I actually tried the color foam to try to correct a terrible decision to go auburn with another brand (It turned my hair an ugly purply-red color). I decided to go with the medium amber brown, because it has those nice warm red tones while still holding onto a nice brown as well. And WOW! My hair looked phenomenal! It has such rich and beautiful color. I always get complements on my hair and people actually ask me if it's my natural color because it looks so stunning yet actually could look natural as well. What's also nice is that my natural hair color is only a shade or two darker, so it grows out nicely.
I've used this color for about four months and have a few words of advice: Start at the base of your head and move up to the front. THEN when you're done, start your timer. Otherwise, I've learned that having it on too long in one spot makes it look a bit too red, and too little time doesn't do enough. That way the front of your head looks perfect. :) Also, completely saturate it with foam. If it looks a little wet, add move color still! Otherwise it won't be as even of coverage.
I hoped I really helped those who are considering trying the color foam. :)
Yes, I recommend this product.

I used the light blonde color foam. The color came out nice, but to use the pump on the bottle was bad. The bottle became very slick with the product and was hard to pump because of it. Because of that, I will not buy the foam anymore unless there is a design change.

I see a lot of complaints about how the color came out, but I also see where people are trying to cover up other bad hair dye jobs and then complaining with the outcome they get. I think maybe the Nutrisse color is what it is supposed to be, but maybe didn't come out too well with what was lying underneath. I had peppered gray hair and some actual white hair on the side of my forehead area and the product covered all the gray very nicely. The color pretty much matches my original color and it blended very well. I followed the directions on the box and I worked it around like it was shampoo to make sure everything was covered and blended.
